Message from Trish Corsetti,  Principal

Dear Commodore Options Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed some time away and relaxation over mid-winter break. After some emotionally exhausting few months of navigating the district's budget crisis, we all needed a break and now we can focus our positive and creativity energies to build a more positive and collaborative future together. You are the most important advocates and voices to support our options programs and our community will continue to be stronger with our collective efforts. Thank you for speaking up for our K-12 students!

Our staff is ready to focus on our spring calendar, student celebrations, and continued academic achievement. Please continue to communicate with your student's teachers and partner with them to support your student. We are a community of learners and our school is all about nurturing relationships with one another. We appreciate all of the amazing classroom volunteers and parents who are able to support their teachers in any capacity. Thank you for showing up and making a difference.

March is Women's History Month and the 2024 theme is "Women who advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion". We have so many incredible women to recognize and celebrate in our own lives, community, and beyond. The National Women's History Alliance has some wonderful resources to enhance the classroom, family conversations, and our work with students.

We are also accepting applications for ALL of our programs for next year and we will continue to give tours and communicate about available enrollment options.  Please visit our website for updated forms and information to share with family and friends. (see attachments below)

Commodore is a dynamic, K-12 learning community, supporting three growing programs and encouraging our families to participate in the classrooms and community events.  Thank you for all of your support!

Warmly,
Tricia Corsetti, Principal
