Message from Trish Corsetti,  Principal

Dear Commodore Options Families,
Cheers to 2024! I am looking forward to a year full of new adventures, creative solutions, and positive growth for all! I hope everyone had a restful and fun winter break. I always treasure opportunities for family and friends to spend quality time together!

As with you, the news of our Superintendent, Dr. Peter Bang-Knudsen, resigning was a surprise. Of course the timing is challenging but I am confident the building administrators will work collaboratively with the district office staff to address the budget, staffing, and potential building closure issues. Thank you for your continued support, advocacy, and focus on options for all students in BISD. My priorities as a building leader is to support my staff,  advocate for our students and families, while collaborating with my colleagues to support BISD. I believe we can develop a sustainable plan moving forward to address some immediate budget issues while creating a positive vision for BISD that encourages innovation and creative growth. I know we can do it if we work together and stay committed to students.

I also want to officially welcome our new Office Manager, Alexandra (Ali) Schilf. She is joining Commodore from Sakai, and we are excited to welcome her to our office team. She will be a positive and wonderful addition to Team Commodore. Please welcome her as she gets to know the amazing students, staff, and families in our building. (aschilf@bisd303.org)

Commodore is a dynamic, K-12 learning community, supporting three growing programs and encouraging our families to participate in the classrooms and community events.  Thank you for all of your support and I look forward to the wild ride of 2024!

Warmly,
Tricia Corsetti, Principal
