We are off to a fantastic start! Commodore Options K-12 is off to wonderful 2023-24 school year! We have hit the ground running, skipping, and cruising our way into some positive engagement! Thank you for all helping your students navigate the new routines of school, bus schedules, lunches, snacks, and celebrating the little successes. Please reach out to me, your child's teacher (s), or another parent if you need additional support or have any questions. Warmly, Trish Corsetti COS Principal
LUNCH REMINDERS: You may purchase BISD lunch from the Commodore lunchroom. Several options are available. Please add funds to your student's Family Access account, bring a check into the main office, or if you need financial assistance, complete the attached form. Thank you all. We have students with tree nut and peanut allergies, so please be mindful of snacks. We will have an allergy free table designated.
ATTENDANCE MATTERS: Please communicate with your child's teacher(s) if they will absent, sick, or have an appointment. Call our main attendance line 206-780-1660 or enter the excused attendance in Skyward. We know some kiddos are adapting to the school day and they're all building up endurance...just like the adults! .

COS NURSES: JENNY BALE AND JILL O'REILLY Please make sure all student health care plans, updated medications, and immunization records are updated with our health room. We have an awesome nurse team at COS to support all of our students.
.
September is Fastbridge screening for all K-8 students in ELA and MATH. We begin progress monitoring and screening our students to determine who may need some additional support, interventions, or challenge. Fastbridge is simply a screening tool and not a summative assessment, like the SBA. Students complete the screener on a Chromebook with teacher support in the classroom. If you have any questions about your student's academic progress, please reach out to their teacher, myself, or Ryan, our counselor.

Check out our new mural! Thank you Siri and all of our Commodore students who contributed to designing our new mural along High School Rd. This was an extension to our amazing community Piano project and Siri extended the student's art to the mural. So beautiful and PNW themed
